Where is Minnippi?

Minnippi is located on 11 hectares of land between Fursden Road and the western bank of Bulimba Creek. The entry to the development is via Minnippi Boulevard off Creek Road.

What suburb does Minnippi belong to?

Minnippi is located in Cannon Hill. The entry to the development is via Minnippi Boulevard, just off Creek Road.

What services are available on site?

Minnippi is serviced by underground electrical, sewer, water. Provision have been made to service Minnippi with the NBN fibre to the homesite. Purchasers at Minnippi will be able to smart wire their homes to take full advantage of the NBN network.

How much public recreational and conservation space will there be?

Minnippi offers homesites nestled amongst over 90 hectares of open space, parkland, Minnippi Golf & Range and environmental habitat.

Who maintains the landscaping and parks throughout Minnippi?

Urbex will maintain the landscaped parks and entry statements for a period of 12 months from completion of each stage’s works at which point Brisbane City Council will take over the maintenance. Urbex has a three year program to rehabilitate and expand the conservation / bushland within the development, including stewardship of the squirrel glider colony.

Are there any public transport connections available?

Cannon Hill is well serviced by public transport and is located in zones 2 and 3 of the TransLink integrated public transport system. Cannon Hill is also serviced by two major roads which allow for easy transportation around the city.
Cannon Hill railway station provides access to regular Citytrain services to the Brisbane CBD and Cleveland. The Cannon Hill bus station is a major interchange for the area. Bus routes include the Brisbane CBD, Chermside, DFO and Carindale.
State Route 20 (Creek Road) – connects Cannon Hill to Mount Gravatt and Murarrie State Route 23 (Wynnum Road, Lytton Road, Shafston Road) – connects Cannon Hill to Kangaroo Point and Tingalpa.

Are there any recreational facilities at Minnippi?

The Minnippi parklands include a lake/lagoon and tidal creek, used by canoeists, with the shoreline covered by reeds, grasses and woodland. The area is part of the Bulimba Creek catchment. The concreted flat path circuiting the parklands is suitable for walking or bike riding.
Minnippi has two children’s playground. One of the play areas is aviation-themed, with a control tower and stone bird/plane figure and amphitheatre. Picnic facilities – tables (some covered), seating, barbeques and toilets are available.
The viewing deck erected slightly over the lake is there to enjoy the scenic beauty, bird-watching (over 70 varieties have been identified visiting the parklands), turtle and fish spotting or photography. Community and sporting clubs use the area regularly, including the Tingalpa Model Aero club.

Where are the nearest educational facilities?

The Cannon Hill catchment contains several schools including: Cannon Hill State School, St Oliver Plunkett Primary School, Cannon Hill Anglican College, San Sisto College, St Martins Primary School and Mayfield State School.

Are there shopping and entertainment facilities close to Minnippi?

Cannon Hill is home to many shops and restaurants. Major shopping centres nearby include the Cannon Hill Shopping Plaza, Westfield Carindale shopping centre, Bunnings and Urban Village Cannon Hill.

What are the building time frames at Minnippi?

Purchasers will be required to have substantially commenced construction within 24 months of settling their lot purchase and complete construction and landscaping within 12 months of the construction start date.
